I'm a Xennial that was exposed to some science fiction and horror starting at a potentially inappropriate age. I picked up a passive interest in Star Trek as a kid that flourished into a mild obsession sometime after 2010. I often listen to electronic music with an emphasis on weird, psychedelic techno and house, a few jam bands (sorry), and of course many other bands and artists with far more renown. I occasionally finish books.

In my efforts to survive capitalism by getting a well-paying job, I picked up some programming skills that helped me develop a nice career in software testing. I rely heavily on Python to get stuff done. These days I find myself doing mostly data quality work.

I'll be writing under an alias, AuthenticAccount. Though I'm not trying to be completely anonymous, I have spun up some social media accounts under that pseudonym to distribute posts and hopefully start having conversations and making connections.
